The Texas Rangers ran a contest over the weekend where they gave away season tickets to anyone who hit a homerun at Globe Life Park. And one lucky bastard actually hit one.
I'm pretty sure the Rangers weren't expecting any of the weekend warriors who attempted this to actually do it. Middle school teacher Byron Anderson hit the homerun and he won season tickets.
My favorite part is the homerun trot he took after watching it clear the fence.
I bet on myself today, it paid off...thanks to @TEXPAMAN and @Rangers for making an ole man's dream come true! pic.twitter.com/zjOEyCidI9— Byron Anderson (@SportsByron) February 20, 2016
