Floyd Mayweather Sr. confirmed that his son is in talks to fight an MMA Fighter.  He said that if it was against Conor McGregor and it was with boxing rules then Mayweather would beat the hell out of him, via Bloody Elbow:

"I'll tell you this, if it's not MMA fighting, Conor is going to get the hell beat out of him. I know lil' Floyd ain't going for being an MMA fighter, so that means that McConor is going to get the hell beat out of him still."

I love Mayweather Sr. adding fuel to the rumor that his son is trying to setup a fight with McGregor.  I also love him calling Conor McGregor, McConor.

There's no need to know the name of dude your son might be fighting or if you do know his name, there is no reason to say it correctly.
