Brian McCann Reportedly Cleared Waivers And Could Be The Next Yankee Move
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
According to Jon Heyman, Brian McCann has cleared waivers. The move is a necessary one if a team is going to trade a player after the trade deadline. McCann could be the next move in the Yankees youth movement.
Atlanta could be a possible landing place for the Yankees catcher. They were reportedly interested in bringing McCann back before the trade deadline.
Great. Now let's get rid of some more of that dead weight. Send Jacoby Ellsbury, another Brian Cashman mistake, and Brett Gardener's wasted spot in the order packing. Make it an almost completely Triple A squad.

Fuck Brian Cashman And Fuck The Yankees For Selling
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
If you're a Yankees fan and you're happy about them giving up at the end of July then you're a fucking idiot. They traded Aroldis Chapman, Andrew Miller, Carlos Beltran and Ivan Nova. All for a bunch a prospects and shitty players like Adam Warren.

Starlin Castro Is Already Paying Off
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Through three games Starlin Castro is making Brian Cashman look like a fucking genius. Castro's already homered twice and drove in 8 RBIs in his first three games as a Yankee. Nobody has ever done that in their first three games in pinstripes.

Yankees GM Brian Cashman Talked About Sabathia Rehab
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
The Yankees GM Brian Cashman shared his thoughts on C.C. Sabathia's decision to enter rehab prior to the Yankees Wild Card game on Tuesday. He of course said all of the right things and seemed to be supportive of Sabathia.
Cashman and the Yankees expressing support for him is the right thing to do. You have to wonder how supportive they would be if C.C. was pitching like he did a few years back with the Brewers during their postseason push.
If he was pitching like that then it would have an affect on the Yankees postseason chances. With C.C. pitching as he has been the last few seasons, I don't think his decision to enter rehab before the playoffs will have a negative impact on the Yankees postseason.

A Rod Is Too Fat For Spring Training
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
According to Yankees GM Brian Cashman, Alex Rodriguez is too fat for spring training. Well he didn't use those exact words, but we knew what he meant, via New York Post:
“Like all our players, we have a report weight we are hopeful they hit. He is approaching that. He is not at the spring-training weight that we desire yet,’’ Cashman said of Rodriguez, who was listed in last year’s media guide at 225 pounds. Cashman wouldn’t say how much Rodriguez weighs or at what weight the Yankees want him. “There was progress. Matt continues to tweak his conditioning program.’’It's not that surprising that A Rod put on some pounds, he was suspended all season last year. But you might expect he would be back at playing weight by now, coming off a suspension with something to prove.
