Over the weekend Yasiel Puig wore some cleats with Vin Scully's face on them.  They really didn't bring him any luck.

Now word is coming out that Puig is available for trades.

If Yasiel Puig ever puts it all together he'll be unreal.  This throw is a good start.

This is the Yasiel Puig Dodgers fans want to see.  He stretched a single into a double using one of the best slides you'll ever see.

TMZ Sports got their hands on the Yasiel Puig "bar fight" video and there isn't much of a fight.  Puig was escorted out of the bar after allegedly pushing his sister during a heated argument.

The video doesn't show that part of the story.  It shows Puig being escorted out of the bar.  He appears to have slapped a security guard on his was out.

Not a smart move, but who knows maybe the guard was mouthing off and needed a little correction.  I'm not going to judge.

Either way it seems to be more noise, because of Puig's name, than an actual incident.  This is far from a bar fight.

Yasiel Puig is having an off year compared to his first couple of seasons in the majors.  But he is still very talented and he still has a strong arm.

Watch the throw he makes on this play.  Sure the runner helped him out a little by not sliding, but it took a great throw to make the play.

Puig barehanded the ball on a hop and fired it in all in one motion.  Those types of instincts are hard to teach.

Yasiel Puig went all Bo Jackson after his third strike out against the Rangers in Texas.  He snapped his bat over his knee like a twig.

If you're not going to hit a baseball with it you might as well hit something.  Plus you get to show off your strength for the ladies.

Yasiel Puig said earlier this week that he was going to cut down on his bat flips, so he could show Americans that he wasn't disrespecting the game.  Puig cutting down on bat flips is understandable.  He was flipping the bat on base hits and even outs, it's a little excessive.

But his reason doesn't make sense.  There is very little respect left in the American game.  And people love a good show no matter how disrespectful.

That's why you won't see any slow down in bat flips in the Korean game.  Check out this epic bat flip on a home run in an 11-2 game.

Yasiel Puig had to leave last night's spring training game after he collided with Howie Kendrick.  While Puig did take a shot to the head and neck he was not injured.

Puig left the game as a precaution.  With the season starting next week I'm sure some Dodgers fans were a little concerned watching the play go down.

Don Mattingly has benched Yasiel Puig for game 4 with the Dodgers down two games to one.  Puig had struck out in seven at bats in a row, but broke out of that with a triple in the 6th inning yesterday later scoring the Dodgers only run, via True Blue LA:

"He's healthy," Mattingly said of Puig during his news conference on Tuesday. " We feel like this gives us the best chance to win today." 

Mattingly repeated that last sentence multiple times, sounding like a man trying to convince himself of the move.

Even with Puig's recent struggles how do you bench him with the season on the line and give no real reason for it?  You have to know this will be a distraction and seen as a reason why you lost, if the Dodgers end up losing.
