Kobe Bryant made it official, this will be his last season in the NBA. The Lakers legend and future hall of famer wrote a love poem to basketball on The Players' Tribune announcing his decision.
Considering how badly he has played this season it's not really a huge surprise. He's on a bad team and doesn't have a lot left in the tank, so there is really no reason to play past this year.

Jahlil Okafor KO'd A Dude In Boston Last Night
Jahlil Okafor got into it with some jabroni in Boston last night after he left a club. Okafor ended up knocking the dude out.
TMZ Sports is reporting that the altercation began after one of the men in the video yelled at Okafor saying the 76ers suck.

OSU Running Back Ezekiel Elliott Trashed Play Calling After Loss
Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliot was clearly unhappy with the play calling after the loss to Michigan State. Elliot said he deserved more than the 11 carries he received in the game.
As the postgame interview was wrapping up Elliot revealed that he will not return to Ohio State. Who knows if this was already decided before this game or if the game pushed him towards not returning.

With no explanation as to what happened to Warner, we're free to speculate on what might have happened. I'm going to guess he didn't pay a backup linebacker the $600 bucks he owed him.

Chef Gronk Doing "Gronksgiving" With Dunkin Donuts
Rob Gronkowski teamed up with Dunkin Donuts for what was supposed to be "Dunksgiving" and ended up being "Gronksgiving." I don't know about you but Gronksgiving sounds like a great time.
Gronk came right out the gate telling stories about cooking at 2 am. By the end of the video Chef Gronk delivered an awesome Gronksgiving.

Andy Van Slyke talked about his time on the Mariners coaching staff and absolutely destroyed Robinson Cano. He repeatedly said he was the worst player he's ever seen. Van Slyke went after Cano's entire game too, not just his drop off at the plate.
I don't know about the worst player, but Cano certainly has fallen short of that huge deal he signed. I'm so glad the Yankees let him walk and even more happy that he hasn't produced in Seattle.

Corey Brewer forced overtimr last night in Houston with a running three pointer with 0.9 left on the clock. The shot forced overtime and the Rockets won the game.
I'm not sure what part of the play was more impressive, the shot by Brewer or the fact that James Harden passed up on his own shot. We know the bearded one likes to shoot the rock.
Blackhawks Goalie Corey Crawford Made A Great Save In Overtime
Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford saves the game in overtime by denying Oilers forward Taylor Hall.
Hall had a pretty good shot at winning the game after a pretty good pass had Crawford stretched out. Crawford was having none of it and managed to stretch even further to get his glove on it for the save.
It was a huge save as the Blackhawks were able to get a goal in overtime to win it.
Jahlil Okafor Sent A Dude Running With His Fake Pass
Jahlil Okafor has some pretty good moves in the post. He showed one of those moves ladt night and it sent a defender running for what he thought was a pass.
Okafor kept the ball and hit the shot. But the Pacers got the last laugh as they beat the 76ers and Okafor easily.

James Harden Still Isn't Playing Much Defense
The knock on James Harden is his defense or lack of defense. Which seems to be right back where it was before Kevin McHale.
Harden's defense was on full display last night against the Trail Blazers. Harden fell asleep in the lane while the guy he was supposed to guard setup and then drained a wide open three.
The Rockets would win the game, but needed overtime to do so.

Jake Arrieta won the National League Cy Young Award after an unreal and record breaking second half of the season. His son, Cooper, won everything else. Cooper made the most of watching himself on TV and completely overshadowed his father's accomplishment.

Could Las Vegas Soon be Welcoming their First Professional Sports Team?
Last Vegas has seen practically everything when it comes to live entertainment, except one thing. The city hasn’t got a professional sports franchise operating within the city boundaries.
And while this is a little discerning for the Vegas locals, it may not stay that way for long. The MGM Resort and Casino will open a new purpose-built sports and concert arena just off the Strip. The arena, which is still to be named as it’s expected they will sell the naming rights, will seat 20,000 people.
The Arena is currently being built behind the New York-New York and Monte Carlo casinos and is set “to be the center piece of the city,” according to Arena Las Vegas. It has been reported that the venue will be ready to stage events as early as the second quarter of 2016.

Tom Brady Is GQ's Man Of The Year

GQ named Tom Brady their man of the year and did a story about him being the greatest quarterback of all time. They also asked him about deflategate and had a hard time letting it go when he refused to comment.
Sounds like it was all a setup to get him in a room and attempt to ask him deflategate questions. But as he does both in life and on the field, Brady didn't back down and won.
GQ: There’s one element of the Wells Report that I find fascinating: The report concludes that you had a “general awareness” of the footballs being deflated. The report doesn’t say you were aware. It says you were generally aware. So I’m curious—would you say that categorization is accurate? I guess it depends on how you define the word generally. But was that categorization true or false?
