Gary Sanchez Hit His 17th Homerun


Yankees rookie catcher Gary Sanchez hit his 17th homerun of his short rookie season.  It has been an unreal start to a career for Sanchez.  Hopefully he saves some of these for next season.

The homer helped power the Yanks to a 5-3 win over the Rays.   Although it is highly unlikely that they get into the playoffs the win keeps them in striking distance at 3.5 games out.
