Rutgers Athletics Director Patrick Hobbs took the stage over the weekend at the Rutgers student tailgate to reportedly calm an unruly crowd down.  He ended up getting the tailgate shutdown after he chugged a beer that someone in the crowd had handed him.

According to Total Pro Sports, there is no word on whether or not the student tailgate section will reopen for upcoming home games.

I love the move.  He could have gone up there and given one of those stiff old guy speeches that other school's ADs probably would have given.  He instead grabbed the tailgate by the nuts and shut it down like a boss.
