The Yankees aren't going to make a magical run and take the AL East.  But at 3.5 games out of the Wild Card with pretty much a full month left in the season, they could make a run at one of those spots.



With all the shit that has gone on this season, including the front office giving up, it's fucking unreal.  Look I'm not delusional enough to think they're going to get a ring this year, but a playoff spot would make this year easier to stomach.

Beyond 2016 this team has a pretty good foundation with some of the young players, whor have proven they can hang at the big league level.  A few moves in the off season and they're back on top of the AL East.
