Sammy Sosa did an interview with Cubs media relations employee Chuck Wasserstrom for his blog.  Sosa was asked about the summer of 1998 when he and Mark McGwire hit a million homeruns.

During his answer, Sosa brought up PEDs and said he was clean.  He was then asked if it bothers him that people think he did "something."  Sosa responded by comparing himself to Jesus.

“Chuck, it’s like Jesus Christ when he came to Jerusalem. Everybody thought Jesus Christ was a witch (laughing) – and he was our savior. So if they talk (poop) about Jesus Christ, what about me? Are you kidding me?”

He does compare to Jesus in one way.  Time has turned both of them white.
