A Day After The Panthers Rescinded The Franchise Tag Offer Josh Norman Hired A New Agent
It looks like Josh Norman might have wanted to stay with the Carolina Panthers. According to Ian Rapoport, a day after the Panthers rescinded their franchise tag offer he hired a new agent.
I would say hiring a new agent the day after you get dropped is a pretty good sign that Norman wasn't happy with his representation. You've gotta love an agent that doesn't know what their doing.

DeMarco Murray Wants Out Of Philly
Ian Rapoport is reporting that DeMarco Murray is still unhappy in Philly and the Eagles will listen to trade offers. How could he be happy with the Eagles? He went from the league's leading rusher to splitting time.
I guess he's not interested in seeing if the new coaching staff will find a way to use him more effectively.

Eddie Lacy Missed Curfew On Wednesday Night
Eddie Lacy barely played in the come from behind win Thursday night for the Packers. His benching led to a lot of speculation as to why, coming off of back to back 100 yard games, he wasn't on the field. The general consensus was Lacy had a poor week of practice and was benched as a result.

Richardo Lockette To Undergo Procedure To Stabilize Ligament Damage In His Neck
According to Ian Rapoport, Seahawks receiver Richardo Lockette will undergo a procedure to stabilize ligament damage in his neck. This is of course due to the huge hit he took during yesterday's game that left him motionless and out for several minutes.
I think it's safe to say Lockette's season is over. As bad as this was it could have been much worse.

NFL.com Reported The Dez Bryant Incident Took Place In 2011
Ian Rapoport reported on NFL.com that the Dez Bryant incident at Wal Mart happened in July of 2011. The police were called, but no charges were filed.
I have learned via another open-records request that in mid-2011 there was an additional incident involving Bryant. A report filed by the Lancaster (Texas) Police Department described the response by an officer to "an unknown disturbance" in a Walmart parking lot during the early morning of July 11. Vehicles registered to Bryant were at the scene in the parking lot, and Bryant later arrived in another car, when he was spoken to by a Lancaster PD officer. Upon further investigation, "it was determined that there was no offense" and "all parties were advised they were free to go."There must be more to the story and if a video exists it must tell that story. It sounds like someone is going to get a nice payday if the video shows some Ray Rice stuff going down.
